Expiration Date - Expiration Date is the date when the option terminates. For almost all options it is the third Friday of the expiration month. The format is MM/DD/YY where MM is the numeric month ie. 1 - January, 2 - February etc. DD is the numeric day and YY is the two digits of the year.
